Wie wachsen Linsen, Kichererbsen und Trockenbohnen eigentlich? Welche Herausforderungen gilt es vom Saatgut bis zum verkaufsfertigen Produkt zu meistern? Antworten auf diese und viele weitere Fragen geben Frank Bäuerle und Jürgen Krauth von der Ölmühle Illingen bei einer Rundfahrt über den Sonnenhaldenhof oberhalb von Iptingen.
Für angemeldete Teilnehmende gibt es einen Platz auf dem Anhänger. Bitte denken Sie an festes Schuhwerk.

Kochkurs für Erwachsene

Heckengäuschule, Lindenstraße 40, 75446 Wiernsheim
Gemeinsam mit Miriam Knapp bereiten wir ein abwechslungsreiches Menü aus der WierPro-Küche zu. Auf dem Speiseplan stehen unter anderem verschiedene Salate mit Hülsenfrüchten, ein Bohnen-Burger und ein süßer Abschluss – selbstverständlich mit Bio-Zutaten aus der Region.
Neben dem gemeinsamen Kochen erfahren Sie Wissenswertes über Linsen, Kichererbsen und andere Hülsenfrüchte: von ihrem Anbau über ihre Bedeutung für eine nachhaltige Landwirtschaft bis hin zu ihren gesundheitlichen Vorzügen.
Da die Teilnehmerzahl auf 16 Personen begrenzt ist, bitten wir um eine verbindliche Anmeldung bis 13. Juli.

Der Fokus der kostenfreien Abendveranstaltung liegt auf demAustausch zwischen Personen, Institutionen und Expertinnen und Experten, die ansprechende und wirkungsvolle Ernährungsbildungskonzepte für junge Erwachsene ermöglichen und anbieten möchten.
In Impulsvorträgen werden relevante Themen wie Kommunikationsvorlieben der Generation Z, Subjektorientierung als ein Leitprinzip der Ernährungsbildung und Ernährungstrends auf Social Media behandelt. Diese können im Anschluss in Diskussions- und Austauschrunden (Connections) vertieft werden. Hier gibt es Raum für Nachfragen und es können persönliche Erfahrungen, Herausforderungen und Lösungsansätze geteilt und diskutiert werden.
Ein leckeres Fingerfood-Buffet, Vernetzungsmöglichkeiten und eine anregende Ausstellung runden den Abend ab.
Knüpfen Sie Kontakte mit Ernährungsfachkräften und Institutionen in Ihrer Nähe, um Ernährungsbildung für junge Erwachsene zu ermöglichen und zu verbessern.

PolicyDialogue: Empowering the EU with knowledge for future-proofing our food systems (1-2 July, Brussels)
The EU's food systems are highly developed and robust, ensuring a safe and convenient food supply despite geopolitical turmoil. However, we also see the systems' shortcomings: they harm the environment, contribute to diet-related diseases, and do not guarantee fair and equitable access to food to all. To feed the world, including Europe, in a healthy manner that does not transgress planetary boundaries, change is direly needed. Knowledge and innovation are key to success and change. The success of EU's food systems builds on an effective governance of the knowledge and innovation system that informs and sustains primary production. The AKIS (Agriculture Knowledge andInnovation System) strategically engages various stakeholders in jointly achieving policy objectives, tailored as it is to the needs of the agricultural sector. To foster the desired changes on the level of food systems, we need to expand this effective governance of knowledge and innovation by including domains of the food system where knowledge exchanges and innovation efforts are currently less structured, and where alignment from an integral perspective on public values is important. Furthermore, we need to strengthen such a food-oriented knowledge and innovation system ('FOKIS') by structurally bridging the worlds of academia and community-driven practice, including numerous initiatives in society that treat food as a public good.
Only if we manage to change how we produce and use knowledge we will be able to change how we produce food, eat, and manage food waste.
In this Policy Dialogue, we will jointly explore the relevant pathways we identified in FOSTER to complement AKIS with a Knowledge and Innovation System that is oriented towards the food system, with a specific focus on community-driven practice:
- Integrating Food Systems Thinking and Foresight
- Capacity Building via Knowledge Brokers and Intermediaries for Food System Transformation
- Embedding Transdisciplinarity in Innovation and Governance
- Expanding EU Food System Governance based on sustainability, democracy and participation
We invite you to explore the project's findings and consider how the transformation of the food system can be driven forward by incorporating the policy recommendations and insights from the FOSTER project into your professional practice.
This conference is of high interest to those engaged in the governance of food systems innovation under Food 2030, linking AKIS to food systems across the scales (from local and regional to national and EU), applying foresight and transitioning towards the 10th Framework Program for R&I and the new CAP (Common Agricultural Policy).
You can expect a conference format that offers a high-level panel discussion, vivid workshop sessions where you can bring in your experience and get feedback, and an excellent place to expand your network.
